Team Liquid Announces Final Roster for LCS 2026 Season

Team Liquid  has unveiled their updated roster for the LCS 2026 season, following an unstable performance in 2025 and a series of changes in the coaching staff and player roles.

The new lineup includes both seasoned leaders and key newcomers, aimed at bringing the club back into contention for international trophies.

Roster Update After an Unstable Season

Team Liquid ended 2024 by breaking a long title drought in the LCS, but the 2025 season proved challenging. After winning Split 1, the team performed poorly at the First Stand and could not regain form following a Korean bootcamp.

One of the main issues of the year was the jungler position. Um "UmTi" Seong-hyeon left the team mid-season for personal reasons, and transitioning to the young player Ganbat "Yuuji" Ulziidelger proved more challenging than expected, complicating the team's restructuring.

Solo laners Ein "APA" Stearns and Jeong "Impact" Eon-young, who shone in 2024, faced instability and mistakes in the following season. Against this backdrop, head coach Jake "Spawn" Tiberi, general manager Kan "Dodo" Jun-hyuk, and new assistant coach Samuel "Spookz" Broadley decided on a major roster overhaul.

Reliance on a Stable Bot Lane

The core of Team Liquid remains the bot lane duo of support Jo "CoreJJ" Yong-in and ADC Sean "Yeon" Sung. This marks their fourth season together. Over the years, they have reached four international tournaments and won two championship titles, remaining one of the strongest bot lane duos in the West. Both players hold residency in North America, allowing the club to flexibly use import slots.

CoreJJ continues to serve as captain and strategic leader, while Yeon remains one of the most aggressive and reliable ADCs in the region—in 2025, he was among the few who secured first blood in almost every split.

New Faces: Quid, Morgan, and Josedeodo

For the mid lane, TL signed Korean mid laner Lim "Quid" Hyun-seung, previously with  100 Thieves . His 2025 performance earned him a spot on the 1st team All-Pro Split 3, making him the only player outside of  FlyQuest  to receive this honor. The only trophy missing for him in the US is an LCS victory.

Joining the top lane is Park "Morgan" Ru-han from  OKSavingsBank BRION . According to the TL staff, Morgan's previous experience with UmTi and recommendations from "The General" influenced his decision to move to North America.

Team Liquid 's choice for the jungler role is Argentine player Brandon Joel "Josedeodo" Villegas, familiar to LCS fans from his time with FlyQuest . Coach Spawn highlighted his versatility and analytical approach to the game as key factors for his signing.
