Illaoi Changes in PBE Patch 25.15

In the new patch on the PBE, Illaoi has received notable changes that revise the effectiveness of her E and the impact of her tentacles in fights. Riot has shifted the focus from zone control after a successful play to more active interaction with abilities in real-time.

Prophet of an Elder God (passive ability):
Tentacle damage scaling from attack power: 100% → 105%

Test of Spirit (E):
Duration of the "vessel" effect after destroying a soul: 10 sec. → 3 sec.
Tentacles now spawn as soon as possible (still requires a wall)
Tentacle attack cooldown: 5–3 sec. → 4–3 sec.

The changes aim for a more active playstyle for Illaoi with less focus on prolonged zone control. The noticeable increase in damage and reduced timers may enhance her impact in dynamic exchanges, but the new gameplay rhythm will require more precise execution. The impact of these updates on her meta role will become clear after the full release of patch 25.15.
