All Participants for Mid-Season Invitational 2025 Confirmed

MSI 2025 — the international League of Legends tournament, traditionally held between the second and third splits of the season, kicks off on June 27 in Vancouver, Canada. The world's strongest teams will compete not only for $2,000,000 but also for a direct slot at Worlds 2025. The tournament will conclude on July 12.

The tournament will feature 10 teams — two from each major region ( Korea , China , EMEA, Americas, Asia-Pacific). They are divided into two stages: six teams will go directly to the Bracket Stage, while four will start from the Play-In.

Bracket Stage Teams:
These teams will start from the main stage of MSI 2025:

Generation Gaming (winner of LCK Road to MSI 2025 #1)
T1 (second place LCK Road to MSI 2025 #2)
Anyone's Legend (winner of LPL Split 2 2025)
CTBC Flying Oyster (winner of LCP Mid Season #1)
Movistar KOI (winner of LEC Spring 2025 #1)
FlyQuest (winner of LTA North 2025 Split 2 #1)

Play-In Stage Teams:
These teams will compete in the play-in stage for two spots in the Bracket Stage:

Bilibili Gaming (second place LPL Split 2 2025)
G2 Esports (second place LEC Spring 2025)
GAM Esports (second place LCP Mid Season 2025)
FURIA Esports (winner of LTA South 2025 Split 2)

Tournament Format
Play-In Stage:
4 teams
Double elimination
All matches — Best of 5
Top 2 advance to Bracket Stage

Bracket Stage:
8 teams (6 direct + 2 from Play-In)
Double elimination
All matches — Best of 5
Winner gets a slot at Worlds 2025 (provided they reach the playoffs in their region)
The region that takes second place will receive an additional (fourth) slot at Worlds 2025

MSI 2025 promises to be incredibly intense, as for the first time in a long while, we'll see new faces among the favorites. Can Generation Gaming defend their title? Or will T1 surprise the world once again? We'll find out soon — the competition begins on June 27 in Vancouver!
