Detailed Information About First Stand 2025

First Stand 2025 will be the first major international League of Legends tournament in the new season. Riot Games have officially introduced the tournament format, match schedule, and new technologies for broadcasts.

The tournament format will remain unchanged. It will begin with the Round Robin stage, where five teams will compete against each other in a Bo3 format. At the end of this stage, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs with a single-elimination system and Bo5 matches. The tournament will also feature the Fearless Draft: if a team picks a champion in one of the series' matches, that champion will be banned for all until the series ends.

First Stand 2025 will also showcase an updated HUD interface for viewers. Riot Games developed it with new functionality in mind, including adaptation for vertical broadcasts. The initial images show that the interface looks unfamiliar but should enhance the perception of matches.

The First Stand 2025 tournament will take place from March 10 to 16 in Seoul , South Korea . Teams will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000.
