bin : For the LPL region and Chinese audience, for everyone, we must win the championship this time.

Q: Happy Birthday! How was your trip to Europe? Are you excited about the World Championship?

bin : Thank you for the birthday wishes. The journey was quite tiring because we had to transfer in Amsterdam (the capital of the Netherlands) before going to Germany. It was quite troublesome since we hadn't transferred before. As for Berlin, my first impression is that it's a bit cold, but other aspects are pretty good.

Q: What did it mean to you to defeat WBG in the LPL Summer Finals, especially since you lost to them in the semifinals of the 2023 World Championship?

bin : Since they changed their top laner and jungler, this year's WBG is not the same as last year's WBG. It's impossible to get revenge on last year's WBG unless the five of them get back together, so for me, this year's WBG is different, and this match wasn't about revenge.

Q: Do you consider yourself the best top laner in the world right now?

bin : I think that whether it's the Spring Split, Summer Split, or MSI this year, I've shown the strength of the world's number one top laner. So, I believe I am the world's number one top laner in this World Championship. I have already proven that I am the world's number one top laner.

Q: Do you think fans of Western teams should have hope for the World Championship this year? How do you view the level of the Western regions?

bin : Personally, I definitely hope that Western teams can show more of their competitiveness because I think that only by having more strong opponents can we improve our overall strength. I am looking forward to seeing the performance of Western teams this year. Maybe they can defeat some LPL or LCK teams, but definitely not our team.

Q: Do you have anything to say to MDK since you will be facing them in the first round?

bin : I know this is a BO1 format, and you will definitely come up with some strange tactics like lane swaps and other tricks, but we will absolutely not give them any chances. So instead of trying to steal a point from us, you should study the opponents you'll face at 0-1.

Q: Many people expect LCK to perform strongly at the World Championship, especially HLE and Gen. How do you evaluate the current level of LPL? How confident are you in BLG winning the World Championship?

bin : For me, it's normal for everyone to think that LCK is the strongest region because they won the S Championship for the past two years and this year's MSI championship. So, everyone thinks that LCK is the strongest right now. But this year, BLG will break that notion, and we will win the World Championship.

Q: Considering the recent discussions about the state of LPL, do you feel more pressure to win the World Championship this year to restore the image of the LPL region?

bin : We definitely want to win the championship very much, not just for our team but also for our LPL region. This championship is for the entire LPL and Chinese audience, for everyone, for everything, so we must win the championship this time.

Q: What do you think of the current meta and the popularity of champions like Renekton and K'Sante? Do you feel that as a top laner, you have enough impact to change the course of the game and lead your team to victory?

bin : For me, it's still hard to see the current meta clearly because I haven't seen strong teams face off to show the priority of champions, so it's hard to judge which champions are meta. But I think I am a player who can play any champion, even those I haven't played before or are not in the meta, so no matter which champion is chosen, I know I can bring it out and play well.

Q: During last year's MSI, you arm-wrestled with G2's BrokenBlade and won. He recently mentioned wanting a rematch. Do you have anything to say to him?

bin : Absolutely, I can definitely accompany, I don't know if I can beat him, but I definitely want to try, because I don't know if he has been working out this year or something like that.

Q: Is there a team you particularly want to face at the World Championship this year?

bin : For me, without a doubt, it is T1. No LPL team has ever beaten them in a BO5 at the World Championship. If we can beat them in a BO5 and become champions, it will be a historic moment for us.
