Q: How do you feel after the team was eliminated?
Evi : I am very disappointed... I have many regrets about the match against 100T. I think we could have made more plays and had a chance to win this match.
Q: Why did you ban K'Sante on the blue side instead of picking him, especially considering your history with this champion? Do you think your understanding of the patch differs from other teams?
Evi : Sniper is an excellent K'Sante player. This champion is also very strong in lane swap strategies, so the coach decided it was best to ban him.
Q: How did it feel to face River today, given that you have competed against each other in the LJL region? Is there a sense of rivalry between you two?
Evi : There is definitely a nostalgic feeling, but I think River is completely different now compared to before. I am impressed by his performance; he played very well today. He has become a very excellent player, and I wish him all the best in the future.
Q: How does it feel to return to Berlin for Worlds, especially since you represented TH in the LEC last year?
Evi : The LEC staff were very warm. They came over and gave me a hug and said, "Welcome back, Evi !" I was very touched that they still remembered me. But I also regret not being able to win matches on the LEC stage for them and our fans.
Q: How has your return to the LJL in 2024 been? We heard you considered retiring during your time with TH. Do you still think this year was successful? What are your future plans?
Evi : The thoughts of retiring were more due to a lack of motivation. I was worried that I had lost my passion and drive for the game. After some time, I decided to continue competing because I felt I could apply what I learned at TH to the LJL. Overall, this year was good, but the only regret is our performance at Worlds.
Q: What are your thoughts on the APAC region merger next year? How do you see your prospects in this region?
Evi : At the moment, I don't have any answers and haven't thought much about it. For now, I plan to take a break and then consider it later.
Q: Your team has three players participating in Worlds for the first time. Do you think this experience will help the team and the young players grow?
Evi : Without a doubt. I think it's inevitable to feel nervous when playing on the world stage. I could feel them becoming more confident in both their plays and communication during the matches. This experience is beneficial for them, and we can also learn from it to perform better in the next international event.
Q: Do you have anything to say to your European fans who have been following you since last year?
Evi (in English): Thank you for watching our matches. I am very sorry for our poor performance and the bad games, I feel very sad about it, but I am happy to return to the LEC stage and Berlin. I really enjoyed last year's matches and am very grateful for your support, never give up!
