Deft : The goal for the second round is to deal as much damage as possible without dying

After finishing the first round of the regular season, KT's AD player Deft revealed his goals for the second round.

On the 19th, in the 2024 LCK Summer Split, KT defeated DRX 2-0, achieving a clean five-game winning streak, and the team ended the first round with a record of 5 wins and 4 losses.

In the match that day, Deft played Kalista and Ezreal, leading the team to victory. In a post-match interview, Deft stated: "I think I played well in the early stages of both games, but I made mistakes when we had an advantage, which is something I need to improve on."

With the conclusion of the match against DRX, KT also completed the first round of the regular season. Previously, KT had suffered four consecutive losses, but starting from the match against BRO on the 27th of last month, they gradually rebounded and ended the first round with a winning streak. When asked about his feelings, Deft pointed out: "What I'm relatively satisfied with is that by the end of the first round, the team's performance had significantly improved. Although the results were not particularly ideal, we need to achieve better results in the second round."

On the day of the match, Deft also reached the milestone of 1,000 total appearances in both the LCK and LPL. He smiled and said: "If I were to give this number some meaning, it would be that as a professional player, being able to play for so long is quite nice. There may be players who will play longer than me in the future, although I selfishly hope this record will remain, I think it will be broken soon."

KT and Deft ended the tough first round of the regular season on a happy note, with Deft also improving his performance to help the team. In the second game, he played his signature champion Ezreal and recorded only one death, showing an outstanding performance. Deft set his goal for the second round of the regular season to deliver the same level of performance as in the second game: "The goal is to stay alive and deal high damage."
