PGL Wallachia Season 9 confirms full 16-team field

The full participant list for PGL Wallachia Season 9 has been confirmed, with 16 teams set to compete in Bucharest for a $1 million prize pool.

The field includes 1w Team , Aurora Gaming, Natus Vincere , Team Yandex , Xtreme Gaming , and GamerLegion .

Several other teams will also take part following a turbulent post-The International roster shuffle that left multiple organizations rebuilding ahead of the new season.

Several top teams absent

Notably, Team Spirit and PARIVISION are not included in the tournament lineup.

Both organizations were among the strongest teams during the previous competitive season, with Spirit winning The International 2026 and PARIVISION finishing as runners-up.

PGL Wallachia Season 9 will run from September 19 to 27 in Bucharest.

The 16 participating teams will compete for $1 million, with $300,000 awarded to the champion.

The tournament will also serve as one of the first major tests for several newly assembled rosters following the post-TI transfer period.
