Save- moves to mid lane for BetBoom Team

Vitalie "Save-" Melnic has officially switched roles within BetBoom Team and will compete as the team's new mid laner.

The move follows Danil "gpk" Skutin's decision to take a break from professional competition after two demanding seasons.

Save- had previously played as a support throughout his time with BetBoom.

Save- finally makes long-discussed role swap

Rumors of Save- potentially moving to mid first emerged earlier in September.

The player had also spoken in 2025 about wanting to try competing in position two, making the switch a move that had been discussed well before gpk's break.

At the time of the announcement, BetBoom's active roster consisted of four players:

• Ilya "Kiritych" Ulyanov

• Vitalie "Save-" Melnic

• Matvey "MieRo" Vasyunin

• Vladislav "Kataomi" Semyonov

BetBoom had not yet announced a replacement support or confirmed which tournament the new-look lineup would debut at.
