Ceb revealed an unexpected reason for OG 's disband, admitting that he didn’t want to return

Sébastien “ Ceb ” Debs mentioned that after Adrian “ Wisper ” Cespedes Dobles left the team, OG situation and results started to decline, which caused the team to nearly completely disband. In addition, Ceb also confessed that he never intended to rejoin the roster.

He issued a message to the fans via OG X (Twitter) account.

"Oh, and not very good. We have been trying for some time to change that. It seems to me that it all started with Wisper . He was ill and moving was very stressful for him. We had to do the qualifiers in early January and I was asked to stand in. Of course, I had some good and not so good days and I tried to help as best as I could. For the most part, we were trying to find the best answer for the team. Sometimes we won, sometimes we lost"

Ceb stated that after Wisper ’s issues resulted in him leaving the club, OG was never able to find a suitable replacement for him, resulting in the team’s further decline. In addition, the ex-captain was clear that standing in was not something he did of his own choosing and the team was looking for a better solution constantly.

"I was told to assist with PGL Wallachia as well, and that was not my choice. Towards the end of the tournament, I had less and less to give, and it is difficult to pinpoint the reasons. Perhaps it was a combination of not enough synergy and me not being in good form. There was a consensus that I could no longer function as a stand-in for a fully fledged player. I thought something different could be done. I lacked the mental fortitude to stay, so I’ll be benched. I know the team will find a way to bounce back, but it’s a lengthy undertaking that takes time”

Yet the double champion remained optimistic regarding the team’s prospect, saying they would definitely perform results with a new lineup built around them, but it will take some time.
