The prize pool for Riyadh Masters 2025 has been reduced again: the official amount has been announced

The prize pool for the Riyadh Masters 2025 has been lowered to $3 million, which marks the third year in a row that it has decreased.

This information was made public through the event’s page on X (Previously Twitter).

For context, the prize pool was $15 million in 2023 and then dropped by 3 times to $5 million in 2024. \$3 million for 2025 is a further disapointment for many organizers which has mixed feelings among certain teams.

Nonetheless, some lower ranking teams may end up with slightly bigger prize payouts due to the amount of competitors decreasing from 20 teams to 16.

Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev previously stated that the prize pool for one of the larger tournaments may be lowered even more.
