Valve lifted the ban on 20 pro Dota 2 players: who might return to the pro scene
On March 9 Dota 2 Valve decided to unban twenty players who had received punitive bans due to serious infractions such as match fixing and blatant account sharing. These players are now allowed to resume professional activities in esports and compete in various tournaments.
This information was reported by Muesli Chinese via Telegram channel.
Of concern is the fact that all the unbanned players appear to be Chinese region players and some are even household names in the esports world. Now that the ban is over, players are able to queue for the qualifiers, take part in tournaments, or join the teams as a substitute player.
Unbanned Players List:
Night ( Ehome )
Salad ( Ehome )
Lww ( Ehome )
zone- ( Team Mystique )
Nj ( Team Mystique )
rayy ( Team Mystique )
Helios ( LBZS )
guoguo ( LBZS )
pp ( LBZS )
Nevermine ( Team Flow )
sss ( Dragon )
新手上路 ( Dragon )
萧容鱼 ( Dragon )
HuiHui (Neptune Gaming)
It is possible these players will decide to make their own rosters but this is still speculation as nothing is confirmed.
