A famous esports player revealed when Valve plans to reset MMR

Alek “ V-Tune ” Vorobey reported that, as per his intel, Valve might wipe the MMR scores for Dota 2 gamers by the end of March .

He revealed this while streaming with Roman “ RAMZES666 ” Kushnarev on twitch .

“There was word that they will delete the MMR data for the users by March ’s end”

V-Tune did not disclose the details of the information's source, but such information has existed for quite a while. Numerous analysts and professional players have talked about how the developers were thinking of this as a possibility. However, a lot of them also said that getting rid of an MMR score would not solve the issues with the matchmaking system, and that there are better other ways to properly deal with smurf accounts and boosters.
