Tundra Esports revealed why patch 7.38 turned Dota 2 into a whole new game
Matthew “Whitemon” Filmon has commented positively on patch 7.38, saying that the changes made by the developers make Dota 2 look like a new game.
The player shared his respective opinion on twitch .
“It looks fun. A lot of things have changed: changed the map, heroes, added new items and the ability to create neutral items. There's a lot to learn. It's like a new game.”
According to Matthew “Whitemon” Filmon's statement, the player prefers to scrutinize the patch changes before starting a game, but this time he had to change his approach because the team had little time to adapt, causing him to have to familiarize himself with the new meta in matchmaking.
“I usually read the changes first, but since we didn't have much time right now, I just played the publics and chatted with friends, learning about the meta characters and items.”
The player is not sure how much the new patch will affect his desire to play matchmaking, but notes that increasing the number of ranked matches is necessary to learn the patch.
Recall that earlier Matthew “Whitemon” Filmon named the worst hero of patch 7.38 for Dota 2.
