Gaimin Gladiators spoke out for the first time about patch 7.38
Erik “Tofu” Engel, the support player for Gaimin Gladiators , mentioned that there were so many changes within the patch that were done that they would have to spend a week going through all of them before the official matches. The player later stated that he was indeed happy with patch 7.38, especially with the buff to Mirana .
The esports player shared this during DreamLeague 25.
“I looked at the hero stats, it was honestly very interesting. In all honesty, when the patch dropped, it gave me goosebumps. While going over it, I saw tons of buffs— the map, items and many more. The first hero I searched for was Mirana , so I was glad when she appeared and was buffed”
He pointed out that there was some information that he was sure he would not read when the global update first came out. But, he comprehensively went straight to the hero section, and was satisfied with the buff on Mirana .
But the player had to reckon with the fact that during the tournament, the patch made him uncomfortable. Most players were not sure which heroes within the pool were too powerful, and were most likely able to dictate the outcome of a match.
It is also important to mention that the reveal of the strongest Dota 2 hero as of patch 7.38 was made a while ago, and he has a win rate of over 60% of games.
