TORONTOTOKYO openly spoke about his quarrels with Nightfall
Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO" Khertek noted that although there are arguments during games, there were actually no real disagreements between himself and Yegor "Nightfall" Grigorienko because they are real life friends.
The former BetBoom Team player discussed this in an interview on the club’s channel.
“If you remember well, everyone has that one or more best friends they play in the evening, trash talk with and can have fun with. That was pretty toxic, no? Yes. But I think it was something like we were talking in raised voices, and that’s emphatically true. Still, I wouldn’t say that there was never any animosity from either side. We were just two good mates. We can talk things out and so forth, there was never any fighting. I suppose other people got affected, I wouldn’t say it happened often, but sometimes it did”
TORONTOTOKYO highlighted that they were frequently speaking in a loud tone, claiming this could have sounded like a fight or even some type of argument, and although it might seem so, it wasn’t. Nonetheless, the esports athlete admits to the fact that these loud disagreements may have caused strife to other members of the roster.
On the contrary, he said that such things were infrequent which is why he cannot say for certain what the impact could have been on the BetBoom Team roster.
