Alexei “Solo” Berezin cited Adrian Cespedes “Wisper” Dobles as an example of the correct approach to ranked recruitment in Dota 2, who holds rank seven, featuring effective gameplay for matchmaking, but is not suited for quality team play.

“Wisper on Bistmaster has absolutely the right gameplay for matchmaking. But it's the exact opposite of proper Dota gameplay. It is gameplay to win pubs. That's why Visper has rank 7.”
