9Pandas abused bugs more than 150 times in the tournament: the team was disqualified
ESL has made a conclusion on teams that exploited bugs during the qualifiers of ESL One Raleigh 2025, and it has been determined that ` 9Pandas ` used bugs over a hundred and sixty times in the tournament. Consequently, the qualifying team has been disqualified.
The tournament organizing company published this statement on the official website.
“Bugs are present in the majority of matches played by the team. Whenever a particular point of a game is reached, one or more members of the team always seemed to try to utilize the exploit. This appears to be a standard procedure with regards to the team’s overall approach to Dota”
In total, three teams have been banned for exploiting bugs during the qualifiers and all of them are disqualified, with the most notorious being 9Pandas which had ` 160 ` cases of abuse, ` NAVI Junior ` with 115, and ` Aurora ` with 50. ESL made the decision to ban all of them from ESL One Raleigh 2025.
It is noted that certain other teams have also been found to actually use the bugs, but those teams were no disqualified and only received warnings or fines.
