A unique Arcana event might soon begin in Dota 2

A gathering may soon be organized by Valve for a new event in Dota 2 gearing towards the Chinese New year festivities that could possibly begin on the 6 to 7 of February. One of the main things to be given out during this event is said to be a treasure box containing the Phantom Advent Arcana for Spectre.

It is expected that fans can start smashing fire crackers around the feast due to the confirmed event starting around february 6-7, for the Chinese New year. The event is speculated to be similar in nature to the Dragon Hoard event held last year.

Hints surrounding the return of the Phantom Advent Arcana for Spectre hasnt been awarded since level 330 was reached in the 2021 Battle Pass but fans are advocating for its return. This theory gets indirect support from the fact that the items slots of the of Spectre has been divided into “Base character” and “Head”, which feel like a purposeful change.

Just like the Windranger Arcana, the Arcana is being geared up for multiset use while still keeping the base appearance the same. According to fan theories, this will be the centerpiece reward of the upcoming treasure.

Nevertheless, there’re no official statements coming from Valve which leaves the launch of the legendary Arcana and new events highly speculative.
