Larl was accused of bug abuse during the qualifiers, with calls for Team Spirit to be disqualified

Fans have called out ESL to attend to the situation where Denis “ Larl ” Sigitov was accused of using a smoke bug in ESL One Raleigh as it seems unfair to them that NAVI Junior competitors were disqualified for a similar offense.

This has sparked the attention of many Dota 2 fans from a reddit discussion group since they posted a video of clear evidence of the rule broken in action.

“ Team Spirit were using the same bug NAVI_J were disqualified for. ESL ur move?”

Commenatators have claimed that the organizers are going to have to deal with the situation since the rules have not elaborated that the bug will only be disallowed after abusing it multiple times. The concern for the viewers is that they are now rewatching match replays after ESL’s decision to disqualify NAVI Junior for the use of the smoke bug at ESL One Raleigh.

Untill now, ESL has still had no commentary on the topic and it is now unknown if Team Spirit will incur any consequences for the use of the bug in an official match.

A very important thing to note is that there was a Team Spirit analyst who in the past contacted valve about the smoke bug because it is a long existing problem that has no solution.
