Miposhka named the main reason for Team Spirit 's losses

Yaroslav " Miposhka " Naydenov, captain of Team Spirit , explained that the drafts were the primary concern of the team’s failures at the ESL One Bangkok 2024.

The esports player commented on the tie at the tournament against BOOM Esports at one to one.

“We have played Boom and the score ended 1 to 1 and after that we moved to the losers’ bracket. On the first map, we had first pick and covered it with the perfect hero. They gave us Chen . From what I recall, Boom had a decent draft, tempo-based, but one mistake and we could turn the game the other way around. And that is what happened. Their draft was very particular and ours was very general”

On the second map, the circumstances were reversed - we had a clear draft in mind. Boom picked first which made it a bit easier for them to choose their heroes. We didn’t think they’d grab Beastmaster and we just froze in thought, which cost us the game. Nonetheless, we will prepare more and will try harder next time. The lower bracket comes next. Thank you all for your support, we really appreciate it"

He added that it was thanks to the drafts that they won one game against their rivals but also dropped the second game because of some particular picks. Also worth noticing is that Miposhka has previously pointed out drafts to be such a concern with the new roster. Other players also voiced their complaints for not being able to play the right heroes and are confident that they could have won the game had they been in the right drafts.
