Talon Esports announce roster changes

Talon Esports has announced the departure of Eljohn "Akashi" Andales and Johan "Pieliedie" Åström, who played as the team’s carry and coach, respectively.

The announcement was made on the team’s official page on X (Twitter).

"Today, we bid farewell to our coach and carry as we prepare to rebuild the roster for 2025. Thank you for everything—from Birmingham to Belgrade. Best of luck in your future endeavors"

Johan "Pieliedie" Åström joined Talon Esports in January 2024 as a coach. Under his guidance, the team achieved several notable results, including qualifying for The International 2024 (TI13), where they secured 13th–16th place. Talon Esports also participated in major tournaments like ESL One Birmingham 2024 and DreamLeague Season 24, finishing both in 9th–10th place.

Eljohn "Akashi" Andales became a member of Talon Esports in November 2023. During his tenure, he contributed to the team’s performances on the professional Dota 2 scene under Pieliedie’s leadership.

It remains unclear who will replace the departing members, but it seems likely that these will not be the last changes to the roster.
