The road to The International 2024; seeding deciders set
Group Stage of The International 2024 has come to an end after two days. After the upsets, the stomps, the tie-breakers, and the pauses, the top teams have been determined and their opponents have been chosen.
The last series of the day was certainly an important one. G2.iG and Tundra locked horns in a best-of-three tie-breaker to determine which team would take the upper spot and avoid having to play either Xtreme Gaming or Gaimin Gladiators – something any team would rightfully want to dodge.
After a 50-minute pause, Game 1 resumed with Tundra swiftly claiming victory less than two minutes later. The second match was anti-climactic, lasting just 15 minutes and sealing a 2-0 sweep for Tundra.
With the results finalized, Xtreme Gaming , Cloud 9 , Falcons, and Team Spirit chose their opponents (or at least were chosen for)

- Sixteen teams
- Eight Series
- All games best-of-three
- No eliminations
- Winners of these series will head to the upper brackets of the playoffs
- Losers of these series will head to the lower brackets of the playoffs
