The manager of Team Spirit unexpectedly reached out to Valve
Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, Team Spirit manager, suggested that Valve remove Hand Of Midas from the game due to critical bugs with the item that are disrupting Dota 2 matchmaking.
He reached out to Valve through his Telegram channel.
"Valve, maybe we should just remove Hand of Midas from the game and stop torturing ourselves? Of course, temporarily — until it's fixed. Relax, my little investors"
He proposed that the developers remove Hand Of Midas as a temporary measure. The issue is that the gold abuse bug in matchmaking has reached critical levels, and even three patches from Valve haven't fixed the situation. Moreover, after Valve's emergency update, the situation worsened, as exploiters found an even easier way to farm gold.
It's worth noting that Korb3n's suggestion has been supported by players. Many are reaching out to Valve, requesting that the item be removed until the bug is fully fixed. Matchmaking is so overrun with exploiters that even a well-known esports player has been caught using the Hand of Midas bug.
