Yatoro admitted that he does not like the "semi-core" playstyle, but due to the current version, he had to abandon his preferred hardcore Carry style. He hoped to loudly declare this opinion on stage after winning a match, pointing out the extreme unfriendliness of the current version to the carry position. Yatoro emphasized: “The current version is designed for semi-cores. Even though this version is terribly bad, you still have to play it.”
When asked if it was difficult to adapt to the semi-core playstyle, Yatoro said: “Actually, it's not difficult. The problem is that as a semi-core player, you have less money, and from a Carry's perspective, the game becomes much harder. You are no longer the battlefield-dominating killer but more like a support role in the team, running around, harassing enemies, and letting teammates finish the kills. It's like a position 4 or 5 squirrel with a cannon, capable of massive kills.”
Talking about the semi-core heroes in the current version, Yatoro listed Chaos Knight, Windranger, Weaver, Troll Warlord, Ursa, and Alchemist. He believes that only Morphling and Terrorblade still maintain their hardcore Carry status, as they have been strengthened and are particularly powerful and competitive. Additionally, Yatoro criticized the phenomenon of players choosing the "Time Dilation" ability for Faceless Void, believing that this approach makes Faceless Void join fights earlier, becoming more aggressive and mobile, but for him, it's a “crappy change.”
In the tournament, Team Spirit unfortunately lost to Liquid and PSG Quest, exiting the competition early. As the defending champions, they ultimately ranked only 7th-8th. The competition was held on the 7.36c version, which introduced new features and talents. Although Team Spirit's captain Miposhka previously stated that their loss had nothing to do with the current playstyle, Yatoro's remarks undoubtedly revealed the challenges the team faced in adapting to the new version.
It is worth noting that the current version seems to favor fast-paced Dota. Most matches in the late game did not exceed 40 minutes in duration. Ultimately, Gaimin Gladiators defeated Liquid 3-0 to win the championship, and the first game of the finals ended in an extremely short time, highlighting the speed and intensity of matches under the current version.
