Ceb refused to play for OG at Elite League Season 2
Sebastian ‘Ceb’ Debs has announced that he will not be participating in Elite League Season 2 with OG due to the cyber athlete wanting to spend time with his family after the birth of his child. The player also added that he is tired of the series of defeats.
The OG captain shared the relevant information in a post-match interview at the Riyadh Masters 2024 during the twitch broadcast of the tournament.
‘I'm going to miss Elite League Season 2. I recently became a father, so I'm going to spend time with my family.
I also feel like I'm reaching the limit of how much frustration I can go through. I tried my best in Riyadh. I believe we created something strong but we couldn't show it to the world and the fans. That's my biggest disappointment. Other teams were watching from the sidelines. I think they too expected OG to place high in the tournament. We had great momentum going into it.’
It is currently unknown who will take Sebastian ‘Ceb’ Debs' place in the OG lineup.
Despite a good result in the main group stage, the team left Riyadh Masters 2024 with a 9th - 12th place finish after two losses in the tournament playoffs to Tundra Esports and PSG Quest .
Earlier, streamer Alexander ‘Nix’ Levin criticised the play of all members of the current OG roster.
