In the semifinals of IEM Cologne on August 17, SAW lost to Vitality 0-2 and missed the final.

Q: Are you a bit disappointed with the result?

A: It is still hard for me to get over the loss, but that's normal. I am still satisfied with SAW's performance in the event. We hoped to perform our best against Vitality. Of course, Vitality's players are very outstanding and their shooting is very accurate. We made a lot of mistakes, especially on Nuke. Nervousness and pressure are also part of the game. I am proud of what we achieved. Let's look forward to the upcoming matches.

Q: How did you sleep after narrowly defeating FaZe?

A: For me, it was a terrible night. Our adrenaline was too high, so it was hard to sleep.

I am very happy, we are still preparing for today's match, so the lack of sleep did not affect us much. The match against FaZe was very exciting and historically significant for Portugal. I am very proud of that, and I hope to bring more victories to Portuguese CS.

Q: There were many Portuguese flags waving on-site, do you like the fans?

A: They are amazing. Portuguese people are obsessed with CS. I really want to showcase the game for them. I will give my all on the field to make them proud of us.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A: Now, it is hard for us to find time to rest because the RMR closed qualifiers are just around the corner. We need to keep training. Although the team performed well in the competition, we are just a second-tier team. It is important to understand that we are not Natus Vincere or Vitality. It would be nice to have a few days off, but we don't have that privilege. However, this is also part of the competition. We will go home, take a short rest, and then work hard to qualify for the RMR.

Some people need more experience in the competitive arena. After participating in so many events, I have become a better leader. Now I feel more comfortable, and progress is always important. I hope SAW will continue along this path.
