Richard Lewis: Snax must reinvent themselves to succeed in G2

Richard Lewis, a well-known British e-sports journalist, expressed his views on G2 signing Janusz Pogorzelski | Snax as the conductor on his personal YouTube channel.

"They did not choose to sign Perfecto and let NiKo switch to the leader. Instead, they signed Snax from GamerLegion as the new leader. When I saw the news, I thought it was a joke by G2, but it was not."

Richard Lewis talked about his reaction when he first learned that Snax was transferring to G2:

"At first, I didn't even know how to react. First of all, it was weird and I felt like Snax hadn't really proven himself as a leader. Secondly, I watched some of GamerLegion's performances at major tournaments and how well they performed tactically. Not impressive.”

Richard Lewis also pointed out the issue of Snax's age and the effort required to remain competitive in the new version of CS pro players:

"Snax's personal data and game performance are very poor. He has now reached the age when an e-sports player needs to reinvent himself. If this player cannot create kill opportunities, then there is no reason for him to stay in the top level, especially Every team has some incredible young players these days.”

He also speculated that Snax was not G2’s first choice to replace Rasmus Nielsen | HooXi:

"It's hard for me to believe that this is G2's first choice. I don't know why they don't look for other players, such as Mouz's leader Kamil Szkaradek | siuhy, who will probably move to another bigger team in the next 18 months club. If his team fails to win trophies one after another, he may move."

Despite this, Richard Lewis still hopes that Snax can lead the G2 team to win the championship trophy as soon as possible:

"Looking at the event schedule before December 2024, I make a bold prediction: G2 will win one of the four remaining major events this year. If they fail to win, everyone will be disappointed and the team will collapse."
