nafany urges benched European players to follow TDK model

Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov says more benched European players should consider forming their own teams and investing in attending LAN events rather than waiting for organizations to approach them.

The 1WIN captain spoke after his team secured an ESL Pro League Season 24 playoff place with a 2–0 upset over Spirit .

Before joining 1WIN , much of the roster competed under the TDK banner while several players were inactive or benched by other organizations.

TDK gamble pays off

nafany said he does not understand why more European players have not followed the same approach.

He argued that Europe offers relatively affordable travel and a large number of LAN events, creating opportunities for players willing to invest in rebuilding their careers.

The project eventually qualified for Pro League through ESL Challenger competition before being signed by 1WIN .

Ax1Le finding old form

nafany also discussed Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov's resurgence.

He said playing again under himself and coach groove gives Ax1Le a familiar environment and allows the team to place him in roles where he is most comfortable.

nafany believes Ax1Le is capable of returning to his previous peak and suggested the rifler may not yet have shown his best form.

1WIN 's run through the group stage included victories over G2, Legacy and Spirit .
