Robin " ropz " Kool says Vitality still believe they have more to achieve and are determined to return to the level that established them as Counter-Strike's dominant team.

Vitality entered the ESL Pro League Season 24 playoffs on a five-match winning streak, with ropz averaging a 1.39 rating during the group stage.

The Estonian said the team remains confident that its current five-player core can continue producing at the highest level.

Vitality determined to avoid decline

ropz acknowledged comparisons between Vitality 's current situation and the end of Astralis ' dominant era, when burnout and off-server issues contributed to the team's decline.

He said Vitality are conscious of those risks but still feel individually motivated and capable of much more.

The team is also preparing for temporary lineup disruption, with apEX expected to miss PGL Bucharest for the birth of his child and jL set to stand in.

ropz admitted playing tournaments with stand-ins can affect motivation because expectations naturally fall, but said the players accept the situation and understand its importance.

He added that Vitality will do everything possible to return to their previous level and continue competing for trophies.
