CS2 update adds new crosshair options and spread visualization
Valve released a Counter-Strike 2 update on October 1 introducing several new crosshair customization options alongside fixes to map textures and weapon accuracy visualization.
The update expands the tools available for players to fine-tune crosshair behavior and appearance.
New Static Quadrant crosshair added
Valve introduced a new Static Quadrant crosshair style as part of the update.
Players can also customize the outline color separately and adjust transparency in increments of 0.01 for more precise visual settings.
Classic Dynamic crosshairs now support negative offsets, adding another option for players tailoring their crosshair behavior.
Spread visualization and grenade sight adjusted
The update also changes how weapon inaccuracy and spread can be visualized.
Grenade crosshairs can now be displayed during freeze time, while newly added crosshair parameters are included when settings are shared through an import code.
Valve additionally fixed texture rendering problems on maps using the Assault game mode.
