Liquid sweep Wildcard to win iBUYPOWER Masters FML

Liquid 2:0 Wildcard

Liquid completed a flawless run through iBUYPOWER Masters FML 2026 with a 2:0 victory over Wildcard in the grand final.

The international lineup did not drop a single map throughout the $30,000 LAN, beating Chicken Coop, NRG , M80 and Wildcard on their way to the trophy.

Liquid dominate Inferno

Liquid opened the final with a commanding performance on Inferno.

A strong CT side gave them control of the map before they closed it 13:4 to take the series lead.

Wildcard offered more resistance on Anubis, but Liquid remained in control and finished the map 13:9 to complete the sweep.

Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa was the standout player in the final, recording 41 kills against 22 deaths with a 1.62 rating.

Keith "NAF" Markovic also impressed with a 1.48 rating, while Georgi "Jorko" Mitev finished at 1.34.

First trophy since 2019

The victory marks Liquid's first offline event win since the IEM Road to Rio qualifier in 2022 and their first trophy since 2019.

Liquid's only serious threat to their perfect map record came against M80 in the semifinals, but they survived that test before producing another comfortable performance in the final.
