Nick "nitr0" Cannella believes every victory at StarLadder StarSeries Fall could prove crucial for NRG as the North American team fights to improve its position in the Valve Regional Standings.

NRG arrived in Barcelona ranked ninth in the Americas and only 36 VRS points ahead of SportsBetExpert .

Despite the pressure surrounding the race for Singapore Major qualification, nitr0 remains confident that NRG will have several opportunities to improve their ranking.

"There's a little bit of pressure, but, to be honest, we have some good tier-two tournaments coming up," nitr0 told HLTV.

He pointed toward iBUYPOWER Masters FLM and FRAG University as additional chances for NRG to earn points after StarSeries Fall.

hallzerk addition changes NRG

nitr0 also discussed the recent addition of Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli and the return of Jeorge "Jeorge" Endicott to the active roster.

The changes have forced NRG to continue adapting their structure while simultaneously competing for ranking points.

Practice opportunities in North America also remain limited compared with Europe , making international LAN appearances particularly valuable.

NRG opened StarSeries Fall against Mouz , with nitr0 acknowledging that any victory against the tournament's stronger teams would provide a major boost to both confidence and ranking position.
