Bymas accuses Monte of owing tens of thousands of dollars as organization responds

Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras has accused former organization Monte of owing him tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid salary, prize money, bonuses, and other payments.

Monte has disputed the size and nature of the alleged debt while acknowledging that payment delays occurred during the player's time with the organization.

Bymas claims payments were repeatedly delayed

Bymas left Monte in early July after approximately a year with the team before joining Luminosity.

The Lithuanian said payment delays had become a recurring problem and claimed that the issue ultimately damaged his trust in the organization.

According to Bymas, he is still owed "tens of thousands of dollars" covering salary, prize money, bonuses, and a share connected to team stickers from the IEM Cologne Major.

He also claimed that multiple former players and a coach remain owed significant amounts.

Bymas said the financial uncertainty was one of the reasons he was unwilling to renew his contract with Monte .

Dispute follows Monte criticism of former players

The allegations emerged shortly after Monte CEO Dmytro Vovk publicly criticized Bymas, Aurélien "afro" Drapier, and Oscar "AZUWU" Bell over the circumstances surrounding their departures.

Vovk suggested that the players and their agents had kept Monte and teammate Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen unaware that agreements with Luminosity had already been signed while extension negotiations with Monte were still taking place.

Bymas responded shortly afterward with his claims regarding unpaid money and repeated payment delays.

Monte denies owing the amount claimed

Monte rejected Bymas' allegation that the organization owes him tens of thousands of dollars.

The organization said some players had been fined for violating contract terms and argued that the amount claimed by Bymas was inaccurate.

Monte also disputed the player's interpretation of sticker-related payments.

At the same time, the organization acknowledged that salary delays had occurred.

According to Monte , those delays were caused by issues involving incoming transfer and sponsorship payments, while players were kept informed about the situation.

The dispute therefore remains contested, with Bymas and his former organization presenting substantially different accounts of the financial obligations between them.
