Heroic , paiN, MIBR, and Others Accept Invitations to IEM Beijing 2026 Qualifiers

ESL has announced the list of teams participating in the closed qualifiers for the IEM Beijing 2026 CS2 tournament. Sixteen teams will compete in the global qualifier, while eight more will participate in the Asian qualifier. Both events will take place from September 2 to 4 in a double-elimination format.

Global Closed Qualifier

The winners of the global qualifier’s upper and lower brackets will earn direct spots at IEM Beijing 2026. The global qualifier will therefore award two of the final three slots at the main event. Twelve teams have accepted direct invitations:

The remaining four participants will be determined through open qualifiers.

Asian Closed Qualifier

Unlike the global qualifier, the Asian qualifier will offer only one spot at IEM Beijing 2026, which will go to its winner. The following teams have received direct invitations:

DEPO
Four more teams will qualify through the open qualifiers.

The main tournament will take place from November 2 to 8 in Beijing. Sixteen teams will compete at the event, with the final three places awarded through the closed qualifiers: two from the global qualifier and one from the Asian qualifier.
