100 Thieves Sign Gizmy as New In-Game Leader
100 Thieves have officially announced the signing of Jack “Gizmy” von Spreckelsen from Monte .
The 22-year-old British player joins the North American organization as its new in-game leader, taking over captain duties from Håvard “rain” Nygaard.
The move comes shortly after Monte ’s international roster effectively broke apart. Following the team’s run to Stage 3 at the IEM Cologne Major 2026, four of Gizmy’s former teammates moved to Luminosity Gaming .
Gizmy later said it was a “very sad ending to the story” after learning that his former teammates had signed contracts before the Major without informing him.
At 100 Thieves , Gizmy will replace rain as the team’s caller. The Norwegian veteran will remain on the roster but will no longer serve as in-game leader.
The signing also follows 100 Thieves ’ decision to move Ag1l to the bench, marking another step in the organization’s ongoing rebuild of its international lineup.
Gizmy is expected to make his official debut for 100 Thieves at BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2, with the online stage starting on July 21.
