The opening round matches for IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 2 have been confirmed following the conclusion of Stage 1.
Eight teams that advanced from the first stage will now join eight directly invited teams in the second stage of the tournament.
The first game day of Stage 2 will feature several notable matchups. FUT vs B8 is one of the key series to watch, while Spirit vs BetBoom will also draw attention as two teams from the same region face each other.

Stage 2 will use the Swiss system, where teams need three wins to advance or three losses to be eliminated. Matches in the first and second rounds will be played in a best-of-one format.
