TyLoo , FlyQuest and BIG Secure Final IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 2 Spots
TyLoo , FlyQuest and BIG have claimed the final spots in Stage 2 of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 after winning their last Stage 1 matches.
Stage 2 will begin on June 6 and will also feature 16 teams competing in a Swiss system format.
TyLoo opened the final day with a win over Lynn Vision in an all-Chinese matchup. They took control early on Ancient and closed the first map with a 13-5 victory. TyLoo then continued their strong performance on Inferno, winning 13-7 to complete the 2-0 series. Lynn Vision were eliminated from the tournament after the loss.
Patrik “Zero” Žúdel was the best player of the match, finishing with 37 kills and 22 deaths across the series. He also recorded 111 ADR and a 7.7 overall rating, performing 34% above his recent average.
FlyQuest then delivered one of the biggest surprises of the day by eliminating Liquid. Despite Liquid entering the match as favorites, they failed to win a map. FlyQuest dominated Anubis with a 13-2 score before taking Inferno 13-7 to secure their place in Stage 2.
Oskar “ins” Holm was the standout player of the series. He finished with 35 kills, 14 deaths, 7 assists and 102 ADR, earning a 7.8 overall rating while performing 38% above his recent form.
The final Stage 2 slot went to BIG , who defeated NRG 2-1. BIG won Dust2 13-5, dropped Nuke 12-16, and then closed the series on Mirage with a 16-12 victory. With the result, NRG joined Liquid in being eliminated from the Major.
IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 1 took place from June 2 to June 5 in Cologne, Germany . Sixteen teams competed for eight places in Stage 2, where they will join eight directly invited teams beginning June 6.
