The MongolZ Sign cobrazera to Replace Senzu

The MongolZ Sign cobrazera to Replace Senzu

The MongolZ  officially announced the signing of Anarbilg "cobrazera" Uuganbayar, who will replace Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold, who was unexpectedly benched in October.

This decision is part of the roster rebuilding after a record-breaking 2025 for the organization, when The MongolZ reached the top of the global rankings for the first time in Asian Counter-Strike history.

Path to Global Success

The year 2025 was a breakthrough for The MongolZ . The team won its first major title — the Esports World Cup, reached the finals of the BLAST.tv Austin Major, and secured the top spot in the VRS rankings. However, by fall, the organization was shaken by the news that 19-year-old Senzu — the main star and hero behind these achievements — was unexpectedly benched.

To maintain momentum, The MongolZ temporarily brought in veteran Unudeljger "controlez" Baasanjargal from Chinggis Warriors. He helped the team reach the quarterfinals of the IEM Chengdu and the Budapest Major, but his contribution, though steady, could not match Senzu's dazzling form.

Betting on Youth

Now, the vacant spot is filled by cobrazera, who previously played for The Huns. Throughout 2025, he showcased a high level of play — with an average rating of 6.2 across 207 maps, the second-best result in his team.

Interestingly, cobrazera couldn't join The MongolZ earlier — The Huns also qualified for the StarLadder Budapest Major, which blocked transfers between participating teams. Now, after a pause, the player is ready for his debut, which, according to the organization, will take place at IEM Kraków at the beginning of 2026. The team will skip the first BLAST Bounty to use the extra time for a training bootcamp.

Current roster of The MongolZ :

  • Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren
  • Sodbayar "Techno4K" Munkhbold
  • Ayuush "mzinho" Batbold
  • Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch
  • Anarbilg "cobrazera" Uuganbayar
  • Erdenedalay "maaRaa" Bayanbat (coach)
  • Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold (substitute)

With the arrival of cobrazera, The MongolZ are once again betting on young players who can establish themselves long-term at the top of the global scene. Although losing Senzu seems risky, this reshuffle reflects the team's strategy — to not rest on their laurels and continue updating the roster to maintain their place among the world's best teams.
