Disappointing Season and Unmet Expectations
Rodrigo “biguzera” Bittencourt's team entered the second half of the year with high expectations following a sensational top-4 finish at Austin Major, but they couldn't replicate the success. After the summer break, pain played inconsistently, reaching only one semifinal series—at BLAST Rivals Season 2, culminating in a swift defeat at StarLadder Budapest Major Stage 3 with a 1–3 result.
The Budapest tournament was particularly unsuccessful for dav1deuS, who joined the roster in January. He finished the major with a rating of 5.6, a significant drop from his average of 6.3 for the season. Meanwhile, dgt was the team's second-best player in Hungary after biguzera himself.
Official Club Statement
In the organization's statement, it was noted that both players were the first full-fledged Latin American duo in the club's history in CS2 :
dav1deuS and dgt have been an important part of our journey in Counter-Strike. We thank them for their professionalism and dedication and wish them success in their future careers.
