FURIA Esports Crowned Champions of IEM Chengdu 2025

The Brazilian team  FURIA Esports  triumphantly claimed the championship title at IEM Chengdu 2025, sweeping  Vitality  in the grand final to take home the tournament's top prize.

Third place went to  Falcons , who defeated  Mouz  in the bronze match, finishing the tournament on the podium.

Falcons started strong on their map, Ancient, winning 13:5. Mouz took the first three rounds on defense, but Falcons dominated on both sides, securing 9 rounds on offense and preventing their opponent from making a comeback. On Inferno, the situation changed — Mouz regrouped and put up a fight, winning 13:11 after a tense finish. However, the deciding map, Mirage, went to Falcons : the team quickly reached match points and closed the game 13:6, maintaining control until the end.

The MVP of the match was Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, finishing the series with 46 kills, 39 deaths, and 76 ADR. His consistent play and key moments allowed Falcons to maintain an advantage on all maps and successfully end the match in their favor.

FURIA Esports vs Vitality

On the first map, Ancient, FURIA Esports won 13:11, despite an evenly matched second half. On Inferno, Vitality managed to take seven rounds on offense, but FURIA Esports confidently closed the map in their favor — 13:11. On Overpass, the Brazilians once again showed their defensive prowess in the second half, securing a third map victory 13:11 and achieving a clean 3:0 series win.

The best player of the match was Marek "YEKINDAR" Galinskis, with 53 kills, 51 deaths, and 94 ADR over three maps. His aggressive and consistent play, along with crucial frags in important rounds, allowed FURIA Esports to confidently close each map and claim the championship title.

  • 2nd place: Vitality - $50,000 + $100,000 for the organization
  • 3rd place: Falcons - $30,000 + $90,000 for the organization
  • 4th place: Mouz - $20,000 + $70,000 for the organization
  • 5th-6th place:  The MongolZ ,  Astralis  - $12,500 each + $60,000 for the organizations
  • 7th-8th place:  Spirit , G2 - $7,000 each + $40,000 for the organizations
  • 9th-12th place:  pain ,  Heroic ,  Virtus.pro ,  Lynn Vision  - $5,000 each + $20,000 for the organizations
  • 13th-16th place:  TyLoo ,  3DMAX , NAVI, FaZe - $4,000 each
