Official: YEKINDAR has joined FURIA Esports

FURIA Esports has confirmed the signing of Mareks “ YEKINDAR ” Gaļinskis as a stand-in for the remainder of the 2025 season. The Latvian rifler joined the Brazilian team ahead of three key events of the year - PGL Astana, IEM Dallas and BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.

An important period for FURIA Esports
This is the third significant change in the team in the last month. Before that, the organization sent Felipe “skullz” Medeiros to the bench, and Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes - even earlier. Instead, Danil “molodoy” Golubenko and now YEKINDAR joined the roster. Thus, the team changed almost half of the starting five.

FURIA Esports is openly demonstrating its course towards internationalization: currently, the team communicates in English, and the geography of the team already covers Brazil, Kazakhstan , and Latvia .

Why YEKINDAR ?
YEKINDAR has been inactive since the end of December 2024 after moving to Team Liquid 's stock. During his time playing for Liquid and Virtus.pro , the Latvian became known as one of the most aggressive and tactically flexible reflaggerers on the CS2 scene. In addition to his role as an entry-fragger, he also has experience as an in-game leader, which can be an additional plus for the depth of FURIA Esports 's roster.
