The official account of PGL Esports has announced the first matches of PGL Bucharest 2025, one of the most anticipated esports events of the spring. The competition will be held at PGL Studios, Bucharest, Romania, from April 6 to 13, 2025, and 16 teams will take part in the tournament.

Tournament format and prize pool
The tournament will be held in the Swiss Stage format: 16 teams will play in Bo3 matches, where each victory will allow teams to meet opponents with similar results. The top 8 teams of the Swiss Stage will advance to the single-elimination (Bo3) playoffs, and the grand final will take place in the Bo5 format.
The total prize pool is $625 000, of which the winner will receive $200 000. The distribution of prize money guarantees a high level of motivation for the teams that will compete for each card and each round.
