jkaem Involved in Skin Scam Scandal [Updated]

Update as of 16:01 CET: jkaem has reinstated his account on X and acknowledged his mistakes. He stated that he has no excuses for his actions and promised to return the money to everyone he owes. The player also mentioned that he takes full responsibility for his actions and sincerely apologized to everyone.

Original News:
Professional CS2 player Joakim " jkaem " Myrbostad has become embroiled in a major scandal. He is accused of repeated skin fraud involving amounts in the tens of thousands of dollars. One of the victims, user Magnus, recounted how he entrusted the Norwegian with two expensive skins during the BLAST Paris Major 2023, but never got them back.

For a year, jkaem made excuses, avoided communication, and apparently gambled away others' items. After the accusations were made public, he deleted his account on X , which only fueled suspicions.

How Did It Start?
In the spring of 2023, Magnus gave jkaem two valuable skins to use during the BLAST Paris Major. However, after the tournament ended, the Norwegian was in no hurry to return them. The player promised to compensate for the losses for a long time but instead constantly found new excuses. He claimed he would buy similar items in better condition, but this never happened.

Throughout the year, Magnus tried to get his items back, but his messages were ignored. Even after the intervention of well-known trader zipeL, who is also the owner of the ECSTATIC organization, the situation remained unresolved.

In March 2023, I lent jkaem skins for the Major in Paris (their current value is $11,000). Months later, he simply gambled them away. After a year of excuses, lies, and deception, I had no choice but to make this story public.

Facts and Accusations
Renowned trader Alkem1st stated that jkaem has repeatedly found himself at the center of scandals involving skin scams worth $10,000 or more.

Unfortunately, this is far from the first time he's done this. I don't know if previous cases were resolved, but I've heard more than once about $10,000 simply disappearing when they end up with him.

After another deadline Magnus gave the player to return the funds, jkaem returned only a small part of the debt (around $1,000) but then stopped communicating again. Magnus reported that he was tired of waiting and no longer believed in the Norwegian's promises, so he decided to bring the story to light.

Trader zipeL noted that he personally contacted jkaem and urged him to resolve the situation before the scandal became public. However, the BC.Game player refused to discuss the issue and chose to ignore calls for honesty.

I wrote to jkaem twice and explained how patient Magnus had been and that he shouldn't miss the opportunity to fix the situation. I also offered to discuss any issues privately if I could help, but he refused. The fact that he only transferred a small amount, fearing public exposure, speaks for itself. It seems there's more to this than just this case...

After the accusations were made public, jkaem initially deleted his page on X , leading the community to suspect he was unwilling to take responsibility, but he has since reinstated it. This incident could seriously affect his reputation and his future in professional esports. The story once again raises questions about trust in the esports community and the risks associated with transferring expensive skins.
